So you want to know when all those shiny 4G LTE handsets are actually launching on Verizon? A friendly neighborhood tipster has sent along Verizon’s upcoming roadmap for their Spring releases, and it’s chock full of Android. For starters, the Samsung 4G LTE phone we had believed would go under the Stealth name is once again confirmed as the Charge (though Droid Charge will be the final name) and pegged with a release date of April 7th. Also planned to launch on the same day is the rugged Casio Commando, which was shown off at CTIA to little excitement. Jump forward a week to April 14th and we have the release of the highly anticipated Sony Ericsson Xperia Play gaming smartphone. If that wasn’t enough Android goodness for April already, expect the HTC Droid Incredible right around the end of the month on the 28th.

Moving out of April, May should see its share of Android, as well. May 5th is given as the day we can expect the the 4G LTE LG Revolution , and the Motorola DROID BIONIC is loosely listed with a May release, as well. Also without certain dates but listed as launching in May (or later) are the Motorola Droid X 2 and, get this, the Samsung Galaxy S II. I don’t think we expected the US launch of the Galaxy S followup to come so soon, but Verizon is suggesting it might be so (unless they are simply suggesting the launch will come after May).

Whew, that was a lot. Did you take all that in? Verizon has a big couple of months ahead of them. Let’s just hope another Thunderbolt fiasco doesn’t push back these dates further than they need to go.

[Thanks, Thomas!]

The leading website for Android-enthusiasts (hint: that’s us) is looking for a developer to lead our mobile efforts and expanding product portfolio. • Proven experience: either you’ve published your own apps on Android Market or have worked on a team producing top titles
  • Ability to unlock the power of mobile development by leveraging all tools available including geo-location, social integration, and emerging concepts
  • A true expert who prides themselves on clean, commented code that is optimized and efficient

Compensation:

  • Competitive based on experience

How to apply:

  • Send an E-Mail to jobs[at]phandroid[dot]com
  • Copy and paste "Android Developer" in the subject line… without the quotes
  • Tell us your name, age, location and a little bit about yourself
  • Tell us your work history and why you are perfect for the job
  • Tell us how much time each week you can dedicate to Phandroid
  • Copy/Paste/Link us (no attachments) to all related applications you’ve developed (or helped develop) and explain your level of involvement on those projects
  • Convince us that you’re the "go-getter" we’re seeking!
  • Please TAKE YOUR TIME in submitting your application – we’re looking for quality of applicants, not how quickly you can show your interest/urgency

We’re anticipating a large quantity of feedback and simply cannot respond to every applicant we get. We want to thank everyone in advance for their interest and we’ll follow up with potential candidates in the near future.

You might have noticed AirAttack HD Lite in this week’s app picks. And if you haven’t played it yet — especially on a tablet — you’re definitely missing out. But even after its recent upgrade to add a second level, we still really want to see the full version see release.

And it’s coming on March 11. Tucked into the game at the end of the second level is the teaser, which we’ve confirmed with the developer. We’ll see the full version of AirAttack HD coming in just a few more days. And we can’t wait.

Full version of AirAttack HD is coming March 11, developer says posted originally by Android Central
